The Pioneer Reel is a CNC-machined cave diving reel that gives divers reliability, durability, and performance. I craft each reel from a single billet of 6082 T6 Aluminium, sculpting it into an offset radial pattern handle. This design ensures a secure, ergonomic grip in all conditions. Additionally, the spool is CNC-machined from Acetal and features a recurve pattern, which allows smooth line deployment and retrieval. Precision machining reduces friction and guarantees consistent, reliable line handling, which is essential when exploring complex cave passages.

High-Quality Materials

I use Grade 2 Titanium for the axel bolt and thumbscrew, while all other screws are Grade 316L Stainless Steel. Moreover, these high-class materials resist corrosion and withstand repeated exposure to saltwater and pressure. As a result, the reel performs consistently dive after dive. Choosing superior materials and precise engineering ensures divers can rely on their equipment in challenging conditions.

Line Capacity and Versatility

The Pioneer Reel holds up to 125 metres (400 feet) of line, making it suitable for both technical cave exploration and recreational dives. Its robust construction allows divers to manage complex lines with confidence. Divers can select from a range of custom colours and handle patterns.
